Jeffrey Schneider, Non Executive Chairman

B.Com

Mr Schneider has over 35 years experience in the Australian energy industry including 24 years at Woodside culminating in the role of Director – Australian Gas.

He has been non-executive Chairman of Strike Energy Limited (ASA: STX) since its listing in June 2003 and a non-executive director of Comet Ridge Limited (ASX: COI) since August 2003.

Richard Beresford, Managing Director

BSc Hons, MSc, Dipl. Imperial College, CAIE, FAICD

Mr Beresford has an engineering background and has in excess of 25 years experience in renewable energy.  This includes corporate experience with British Gas (now BG) in the UK and Indonesia, Woodside in Australia and China Light and Power (CLP) in Hong Kong.  Mr Beresford has been a director and company chairman of several listed and unlisted companies.  He is currently non-executive director of LNG Limited, Eden Energy Limited and Gas Link Global Limited.

Adrian Larking, Director of Operations

BSc (Hons), MSc, Dipl. Imperial College, LLB and Grad Dipl. Legal Practice. FAIMM

Mr Larking is a geologist and resources lawyer with more than 30 years experience in the minerals and petroleum industries in Australian and internationally.  Much of his experience was gained while working for Western Mining Corporation Limited (now owned by BHP Billiton).

Dr Jörg Baumgätner, Non-Executive Director

Dipl. Geophysics, PhD, post doctorate studies Stanford University  

Dr Baumgätner is one of the World's leading experts on the development and production of geothermal energy from Engineered Geothermal Systems (EGS) or Hot Dry Rocks.  Based in Germany, he is the CEO of BESTEC Drilling Gmbh.  He is a member of both the Management and Supervisory boards of the Soultz Geothermal projects in Soultz-sous-Florets, the foremost EGS project in Europe.
